Okay, so right now I'm feeling really humble! I've been getting so many hair compliments since I started take the advice you all have provided. I've been lurking since Feb..right before I cut my hair. Anyways, people have actually been asking me for advice! I was like..."me, you want my advice". People have been telling me my real hair is nicer than the weave! Wow..that's mad props.

So I just wanted to tell yall I'm so grateful for all of you. Thanks for warning all us newbies of your trials and errors, and just sharing geniune information

So this is what I have changed since stalking the forum.lol
Deep conditioning. I had no clue before the forum because growing up, my mom's idea of conditioning was hair grease.

I've cut back on heat. I can't give up the flat iron all together just yet. However, I have stopped blow drying.

Sealing..didn't know what that was other.

The list really goes on and on.

I must agree with the OP! This is a great website. I found it about two or three weeks ago and I joined a few days ago. I am loving the wisdom that is imparted here. I know certain things are bad, but this website gives tangible proof that if I stop those things, then I can attain/retain longer length. I haven't used heat in over a week, I'm baggying my ponytail, and I moisturize/seal my hair. Thanks again for all the knowledge that is given.
