I am seriously considering this so I have a few questions:

What led you to making this decision?

Do you still have good slip/manageability?

Is your hair stronger than it was when/if you had a relaxer?

What are the pros/cons? Thanks so much

anyone know of some good previous threads regarding this subject matter? :look:

The search thread's not working for me :nono:

What led you to making this decision?
~I did not like the fact that my hair was thin and weak. But i also did some research about texlaxing and enjoyed what i received from what i found. Moreover, my hairdresser always told me i should look into being natural, but i could not see myself natural for some reason! And thats when texlaxing came to mind!
Do you still have good slip/manageability?
~ Yes, i still do have slip and my hair is still manageability. I try to telax at least every 3 to 4 months. Right now i am 4 months post texlax. I also think what helps me with the slip is the hair products i use. I am currently using ALL KeraCare products and let me not forget COCONUT OIL. Coconut oil has REALLY help me with the NG.
Is your hair stronger than it was when/if you had a relaxer?
~ A BIG YESSSS for this question! My hair is SOOOOO STRONG from telaxing. Not only that, but its full, thicker and has body when i flat iron every 3 to 4 months.
What are the pros/cons?
~Pros for me: stronger, fuller, thicker and still enjoy somewhat of my natural hair.
~cons for me: let me think........nothing really!

I hope this help you with your decision!

HHG!

What led you to making this decision?
For me, it just happened by "accident". I think I was in a hurry a few years ago and didn't fully relax my hair one day(underprocessed). I liked it. :) The next time, I did it on purpose by leaving the relaxer on for half the recommended tme and I've been doing it ever since.

Do you still have good slip/manageability?
I have much better manageability. Good slip is from the products we use and I have that great slip.

Is your hair stronger than it was when/if you had a relaxer?
I have a relaxer--texlaxing is relaxing. My hair is a lot stronger and thicker then when it was relaxed straight. :)

What are the pros/cons?
I relax the same way each time (always using a timer) so I get the reliable results. I only have pros: strong thicker hair, lots of body and swing, easy hair care, more versatility in styling. :)
