Can someone PLEASE post some videos on how to self textlax?
I will be doing this myself after a horrible disaster from a “professional” ( which I paid $375 at a salon).
I want to do this right this time…PLEASE HELP : (
I will be using phyto index I or II ( which ever one I find) I'm also a type 4b.
Thanks soo much!!

Bumping for lebiya

Im sorry i don't have any videos, i am texlaxed (6+ months) but only by accident. I think my problem is my hair is always coated with product before i relax so it slows the process, which I'm fine with lol.

$375 for a relaxer?!?!? Where in the world was this?

I have no videos but when I was texlaxing my stylist used Arosci Texturizer. To get the same effect with a relaxer, a friend used a lot of oil in a regular relaxer product. It's been a few years and Icannot recall which brand.

Hi :)

I'm also a wannabe self-texlaxer. I received my first texlax in December 2010 & I just had my first touch up a month ago. Both were done at a salon & very expensive. While I was satisfied with the results... I think I'm done with salons. I will do my own texlax when it's time for my next touch up in August.

The videos below aren't mine... However I think she does a good job at explaining the process. Of course, you'll have to adjust the process to your liking (for example, her texlaxes are straighter than I want mine to be. I like a more kinky look), however it's nice to have someone else's routine as skeletal guide :)
