…can anyone pinpoint me to videos of how to texturize the RIGHT way? I will be doing this myself after a disaster I had (which I paid $375 at jazma-toronto). PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME!
I’m soo scared I’ll mess up too : (

I’m 4bzz if that matters

Texturizing and Texlaxing will leave your hair looking tow different ways IMO.

Texturizing will leave you will more curl since you are 4b it will take you to a 4a or even a 3c

Texlaxing will leave you with a much looser curl like a 3a-2...

The texturizing is usually done with a texturizer Iit says it on the box) AND They can both be done with a relaxer. Usually people add conditioner to the container from 1 T-1/4 cup. It all depends on how much curl you want left over and if you are doing your entire head or the half half methold

I've watched every relaxer video out there and none worked for me in how much conditioner to add. It took trial and error.

Right now what are tyou trying to accomplish so we can lead you in the correct direction, and please really put down everything so noting is missed.

Do you want to use lye or no lye
will you will doing the entire head or NG etc

ETA: I second what the poster says above about texlaxing and texturizing. I am natural now but when I used to texlax/ relax I found that the key to not getting relaxed hair was NOT combing but rather gentle minimal smoothing with your fingers.

I always wondered what the difference was thanks!

I was watching these videos just to see...so much respect for self-relaxers! I got heart palpitations just watching.
