Testing New Products on Natural Hair

How do you all test products on your hair? Do you try them on your major wash day ? Do you try them out during the week as a daily product

I am tryin' out L'Oreal Mega Moisture tonight. I am going just to soak my hair with water and see what type of results I get. How about any of you ???

It depends on how brave I'm feeling. Sometimes I will just take a section of hair from the front, wash it, and then apply the new product. If I like the feel or the look, I will carry on and do the rest of my hair. If I'm unimpressed, I just grab my tried and trues.

Right now, I'm testing out new 'techniques' of using the products I already have. My VISA won't allow me to be a PJ right now

. This week after my cw's, I've poured Suave M&H in my hair like I'm about to wash again, but I leave it in

. It adds weight to my super fine hair, actually allowing my little nappy curls to form

, but now I'm sick of the smell of M&H!

I usually experiment on the weekends, but I'm feeling a little daring this week
