Temporary Color?

Is there any nondamaging way to just spray on some color on your hair for a few days? And to not color the whole thing evenly, to just highlight different parts of the hair? Just for a new look.

The BSS sells spray-on haircolor that comes in a turqiose bottle around here. I don't know the name of the brand, but when I was in the early teens, I used to experiment with it. But when you go to spray it on, make sure you just grab a piece, and place the piece you want to spray on a sheet of paper before spraying. The reason you should do this is because if you spray it directly onto your hair, the spray will hit your head and make a big circle.

So, you have to separate the pieces you are highlighting from the rest of the hair.

Are the sprays better? Cause when I used them in the early 90's, they made my hair stiff and crunchy feeling.

The sprays are the only ones I've tried. They have the mascara-like ones too, but I don't see those anymore.
