TEmple investigation...I discovered my temples where always somewhat jacked up!

During this week, My mom took out some old family pic. When I looked at pictures of myself, my eyes went automatically at one specific spot...my temples.

My temples have always been short! I even looked at pics where i was as little as 1 year old and mom braided my hair so tight! and still my right temple is not to thick nor long. Both temples are short. But my right temple was somewhat thin and almost transparent. I looked at my pre-teen pics, teen pics... all the same. Short temples and a thin transparent right temple. Throughout, all those years i did not wear a scarf when going to bed. I slept on cotton/polyster pillowcases. I didnt know much about hair care. I also worn braids most of my life( from age 7 to 20). I can count the amount of relaxers I have gotten in my life on one hand. Still despite wearing braids all the time my temples still looked jaked up especially the right one.

So now I wonder, can I change this temple dilemma? SO far i tired La India cream...didnt do much. I tried Vitamine E oil on the temple...it worked a bit. I tried, Dr. Miracle the regular strenght and the extra strenght, didnt do much. I then tried Betty Hudson, Hairpousse plus, Im not sure about it and i havent been persistent with it. I also tried Sulgur8+Glovers mange, Im also not sure about it.

So far the only thign i used that seemed to have worked is my MTG, I havent been persistent with it either. But this year i plan to use it daily(@ night) on my scalp and at night I might try Amla oil.

Any tips or advice? Any products i should look into? What about groganics?

My daughter had thin temples when she was younger. When she turned 2 years old I started scapl massages every night before bed for about 6 months. Now her temples are thicker than they were but not as thick as the rest of her hair.

There was an ointment that someone mentioned on the board I'll see if i can find the thread.

Same problem here. I found pictures of me when I was little and my temples and edges were see-through:lol: . Since joining this board, I discovered MTG mixed with Rosemary and Peppermint oils have helped. My edges and temples have thickened up nicely. I do occasionally wrap my hair at night but I'm a wild sleeper so the scarf is off by morning. My father has thin edges so I know that's where I got it from.
