. I'll try it when I take out my braids. I wonder if leaving in conditioner and using gel helps reduce shrinkage... that the only problem I have with my shake and go's.

And to combat with shrinkage, I wait until my hair is completely dry, and then I run hands through my hair.:) That way the curls are still defined becaseu my hair is dry and not vulnerable like wet hair.
 
Thanks for the link! It would take me a long time to curl my entire head with my fingers. Good tips though.
 
Thanks Dees! This is the exact same direction Ouidad gives, only using her products of course. I recently happened upon materials they mailed to me awhile back. She uses models of various backgrounds and had two models of A-A decent. One was indentified as having natural 4b hair and she had these perfect ringlets. After reviewing the material w/my newly trained eyes, I can clearly see that these were sculpted curls and look just like a twist-out or some sort of straw-set.
