**UPDATE** I have added the links of Camille Rose, The Mane Choice and some more Mielle Organics products that I spotted on clearance below!

My apologies in advance if I am posting this in the wrong area.

While shopping at Target, I have the tendency to browse the clearance they usually have on the end of the aisles. I stumbled upon a lot of Mielle Organcics products marked 50% off. I have grown to love this line, especially the Honey & Ginger Styling Gel.

Although I loved being able to stock up at a low price, I hope Target isn't trying to phase out selling this line. :badidea::nono:

If you want to check and see if your Target is doing a markdown too, just click on these links and enter your zip code for price & inventory status. HTH! :)

Keep in mind Target will continue to markdown the price until it reaches 70% or 90% every week or two. So if the price is not good enough yet and they have plenty in stock, wait for a better price if you can!

You were literally sent by God. According to the website, none of the Targets near my house or work have it on sale, but I just so happen to be working off-site this morning and the closest Target is the only one that has it on sale and in stock! Woo Hoo!
You all are so very welcome! I also spotted The Mane Choice & Camille Rose on clearance as well. The Mane Choice Detangling Hydration conditioner was on clearance for $9.08 and they have a promo going on that's working on clearance as well for a $5 Target gift card when you buy two. Same with Camille Rose Curl Maker was $11, regularly $22, with $5 gift card back for buying two as well. I also spotted the Camille Rose Algae deep conditioner for $12.58. If yall are interested in those as well, let me know and I'll look up the item numbers.

I'm interested in a CRN Curl Maker for $11! Thanks so much!

Also, I just went to a Target closer to the hood and they haggled with me instead of letting me remove a hair product from my cart! They offered to take $3 off! What in the world?

Thanks for this thread, I love CRN curl love, it's my go-to leave-in. I'm gonna hit Target tomorrow morning, the website you posted didn't show discounts in my area, but fingers crossed that they'll have some type of discount when I get there cause I want to try the CRN dc.

The CRN dc was marked at $17.99 at my Target, however, it was not marked at the price on Brickseek so I went to scan it before I went to the register and sure enough it was $12.58. I bought two of them and received a $5 gift card! :meme:

Wow!

Really? Wait: So the Brickseek website did not say it would be on sale at your store, but you tried it anyway and it worked?

Aww I'm sorry chickadee. I haven't tried the CRN Curl Maker yet, I've been hooked on the Mielle Honey & Ginger styling gel which is a GODSEND!

I am SO impressed with the Mielle Honey & Ginger styling gel. I've only used it once, trialing it just on my bangs. It left my hair very sealed, soft, moisturized, and elongated. I was trying to test out JUST the gel, so I applied it to hair that was freshly washed and had no leave-in on it. The next day I had frizz. I'm wondering if that's because I slept on a satin pillow without covering my hair, because I had no leave-in under it, or because my hair is just going to frizz with that product.

I'm going to try it out with leave-in beneath it. If it doesn't frizz, then I'll considering designating it as my HG gel and just leaving it at that. Someone's review of the Mane Choice gel kind of raised my interest, but I'm sick of sinking money into gels and then just having bottles and jars of stuff sitting around.

What other gels have you used? How would you compare them to the Mielle Honey & Ginger Styling gel? Did you get frizz with the Mielle H&G gel? TIA!

I did the exact same scenario you did but I did sleep with satin bonnet but my hair was a bit crunchy, I figured I used too much product. I spritzed with water & Taaliah Waajid's Protective Mist Bodifier for 2nd day hair and was good to go. But now that I just copped the White Peony leave-in, I'm going to spray that underneath the gel and see how it goes.

I've only used SheaMoisture Coconut Souffle & Ecostyler. They are trash compared to the H&G imo. I recently went to get my hair trimmed and my stylist suggested I stay away from SheaMoisture hair products, have you heard anything discouraging about them as well?

The only negative thing I've heard about Shea Moisture products from a stylist is that they hate the smell of them. I hardly go to stylists because they tend to rip through my hair (it's super coily 4a hair, and to detangle it without damanging it, you have to be patient and gentle). The one stylist I go to every now and then allows her clients to bring in any product they want so that clients can see how the product performs in the hands of a professional. I asked her if there were any products she didn't want me to bring in. She said, "Naw, not really. Some of my friends forbid clients to bring in Shea Moisture products because of the smell. I'm open for whatever you feel works for your hair."

That said, I just don't have any luck with Shea Moisture products, ESPECIALLY the stylers. The one SM exception: Their hipo masque. It's HG for me. It's the best softener/conditioner that's ever touched my strands. If they ever discontinue it, I'm going to be truly bummed out. LOL. I left a very long review on the SM page for it to try to help it stay. LOL! :lachen:

I'm thinking about using that 25% towards a roll around dryer. They have a Modern Elements one for $88 right now.
That would be nice. I thought about buying the barrel curlformers but I cant justify buying more rollers until I use the ones I have. Maybe I will see something I want when I go in the store. I always say I want things until its time to spend money  Then I talk myself out of it.

I actually got my hands on a few products. Can't wait to try them, sure bets paying full price. I just looked up the Mielle Organics Mint Almond Oil, which I purchased a week ago at Sally's and paid full price. I really like it and it's markdown at a target 7 miles from my house. I'll grab a few tomorrow.
