I'm back at transitioning and I'm trying to keep things simple. I've been moisturizing, sealing, and pulling it back. It's hard since I've never been able to leave my hair alone. Anyway, I got ready to wash and DC and I had horrible tangles. I mean knots in some places. I felt like my roots were matted and I lost way too much hair trying to work through it. I'm not sure what went wrong and I don't want that to happen again this week. Any advice?

Have you tried a detangling spray? Mane and Tail detangler melts my tangles away when I'm at the end of my relaxer stretches.

Did u wash in sections cause after 8weeks post it really helps

For me, it's easier to detangle before I wash. Get all the shed hairs out, then wash in sections.

I used to use mizani D'tangle but I haven't had any for a while. I'll try the mane n' tail one if it'll work. I don't wash in sections and I'm 11 weeks post. I will now. I cowshed and rinsed with acv a few hours ago. I'm starting to blame the Jane Carter conditioner. My hair felt kind if rough after I rinsed it out.
