I was wondering if any of you ladies have had to deal with this issue. I notice tape instead of the manufacturer's seal, where the hair is attached to the pack (of hair) To me, they might as well just add some cheap hair and pass if off as velvet/saga, etc.
I live in MD, and the name of the store is Beauty lane, the are located on Briggs chayney road. I don't know, I might just take the hair back.. does anyone else notice this too??

I don't know, but I was in a beauty supply store in the middle of the day one day when it wasn't busy and the owner had a bunch of those plastic bags with a name on it...I think it was zury...and he was bagging up the hair himself...I though that was really odd...the thought immediately crossed my mind that they can switch up the hair if they really wanted to...I really don't trust some of them....I refused to even purchase my relaxer from my local BS store from this same reason...you don't know what you are getting with some of them....

They use the tape because the customers always want to feel it befor thy buy it and the seal wears away. The bagging hair our self we never did that except for hair that was lke tookin out and just thrown in boxes

Shouldn't the store have samples for that purpose so that they don't have to break the seals on a new pack?

You'd think that would work, but unfortunately most customers really man handle the samples, run their fingers through it, hold it up to scalps and pull it (if it's curly) to see how long it is, and some even fluff the sample out to see what it will look like when it's older. Give that sample about 2 weeks and it looks so haggard someone looking at it wouldn't want to purchase the hair.

Customers also tear packages trying to open them to inspect, some throw packages on the floor or put them back half-ass which then leads to them getting stepped on or squished elsewhere by another customer. I spent 4 years having to clean up behind these kind of chicks and trust me, after awhile it gets annoying having to clean up behind grown women who could think less of behaving like heathens in someone's shop. The help doesn't always feel like rearranging and reorganizing.

I've also had to repackage weaves in new bags because the old bags get so beaten up, either in storage, shipping, or just plain employee customer handling.

You guys would be shocked to know this, but it's often not the BSS owners who are trying to trick women about hair- it's the hair companies themselves.
