Tall ladies - what hairstyles suit u the best?

whilst relaxed i would always wear my hair like in my siggy pic - or at least have my hair come down by my face and have some width at the side. Now that i'm transitioning i'm pulling it back and i look like a pinhead! My original style also balanced off my 5'11" frame. For this reason i think i'm gonna be a straight-haired natural so i can have some bangs. Right now i feel very unattractive and awkward looking.

I like braidouts and bantu knot waves....i usually like mostly down hairstyles but then i love a bun at the top of my head with a part OR with bangs or a low or side ponytail. I'm 5'8...but im the midget in my family

Ditto. I thought it was mostly about the face shape. I've tried different looks over the years. When I was young it was mostly pulled back and I thought this suited me because my face is longish/oval. I didn't try bangs until I got into my thirties but they're always side swept bangs - I still don't feel that full bangs suit me. As I type I guess the one thing I wouldn't do as a tall woman is the free form fro look. I think some shorter women can pull it off but it's not something that would look good on me. I'm very much a neat freak about my own hair. Now that might be related to height or it might be personality - I can't say which.

As you can see in my siggy, I have been doing lots of buns throughout my transition. I also do rollersets like the attached pic. I am 6'1, and although I definitely understand what you mean about balance, I wear whatever suits me.

I'm 5'8 and my face is between a heart shape and a oval? i guess,,,not sure...

the only thing i avoid are full bangs and straight across bangs. also would not look right with a short cut. i avoid false hair too it just does not look right on me.

loose buns, braid out, wild wash and goes, and straight styles all look elegant on me.

I'm 5'8" and I have a long face, I perfer styles that frame my face. I also have a big forehead but I don't like bangs for some unless it's a swoop bang. Just take consideration of your face shape not your height.
