Well I am 5"7 1/2" and i'm natural. I did my BC in july of 2005 and it took me about 2 years to get back to brastap. I started with 5-7 inches of hair.

I am 5'8. I never really took care of my hair so I am not the best example but 5 years ago my hair was shoulder length. It was damaged so bad I couldn't even look at it. I left it in a weave until 2 months ago. I think the key is definitely how you take care of it determines how long it will take to grow. My goal is full BSL with the front (including bangs) just as long as the back. Wish me luck!

I am 5'8" on the dot - 3 1/2 yrs ago I BC'd and wore my hair in box braids - no extensions. Not sure of how long my hair was b/c I didn't measure, but the braids were eye length. 2 yrs later I was BSL stretched. I relaxed, and eventually cut due to damage. Last June, my hair was cut to neck length. I made it to APL in 6 months. In Mar I cut my hair once again, b/c I'm transitioning back to natural - I went to NL again, with layers, and now I'm creeping up on APL again! If I don't reach it before the end of the summer, I think I will def hit it in October.


I don't know when I will BC, I hope to make it to 15 months or so. So If I stick with it I want to be BSL by that time. If not, I want my natural hair to be CBL or SL stretched.

I'm 5'9. I got from NL/CL to full APL in 1 year. I'm currently 2" from BSL.

started at chin length in March 2007. Now I'm bluntly cut and 2-3 inches from APL and this all included maybe 3.5 inches of trims.

SL - APL about 4 months
APL - BSL about 9 months
BSL - MBL about 8 months

I don't know if you're worried about how long it will take or just want to get a general idea of how long it will take. If you're worried, try to just relax and take care of your hair day by day. You'll look up one day and you will have the length you want.

5'11" my hair is relaxed and it went from shoulder to apl in 6-7 months.

Aww boo! I'm actually five nine, but i have yet to reach Apl...that is my goal by next december! But I reeeeallly wish I woudla began taking care of my hair earlier....I coulda been there by now! God Bless!!

Humm,
I'm 5 feet 9 exactly and I would say it took me about one full year to reach APL. I have trimmed now so I am working on full APL. (I need to update my avatar pic).
Just focus on taking care of your hair and body and APL and beyond will come for sure!

I'm 5'8 1/2" On Average when I cut my hair to right about or above NL it'll take me a little under a year. When I BC'd my hair to about Ear Length if I wouldn't of cut it I would be APL by Sep. Which would make it about 15 months
