Taking a break from the Bun Challenge! (Thank goodness!)

For all of my sisters on the bun challenge give yourself a round of applause we've made it this far. /images/graemlins/clap.gif Personally, I'm taking a break from this challenge at least for a month. The new growth is no joke but its too soon to relax so off the the braiders I go! It'll be cornrows for the next 4 weeks.

Who's still on this challenge? Have you seen any positive results yet?

Good luck. I've been on and off the bun challenge as well only because I get tired of wearing a bun all the time, and plus, I have a big forehead! /images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I like that a bun is simple and quick to do. I hate that it's so boring. Besides now my edges don't stay flat now that I'm almost 12 weeks post touch up.

Yes, I'm still on it. I have to get a relaxer next week, though, because as you mentioned, my edges are poufy as all get out. Thanksgiving Day will make week 12, so I guess Wednesday will be the day. Otherwise, I'd be trying something new, too. Don't forget about us when your braids come out /images/graemlins/smile.gif!

I'm on it.....but I'm planning to do a sew-in weave this weekend. I NEED A CHANGE...haha

I am also sick of my bun I'm getting my braids done tomorrow too. This is week 11 and I hope to get at least 6 weeks out of my braid for a record breaking (for me that is) 17 week stretch. /images/graemlins/smile.gif
