TakeDown! Need a review!

I'm getting these kinky twist (exact length and style). But I'm TOO afraid of the end results. My hair grows like WEEDS when I have braids and other prolonged styles in..but for some friggin reason (regardless of EXCESSIVE care) I have knots at the base of every braid. I was referred to Take Down. Has anyone ever tried it? Please share your review!

i havent used that particular brand....i used african pride ease out spray.....it really doesnt do anything that conditioner wouldnt do, in my experience....

i used to have that same problem...ive learned that if you keep your scalp relatively clean DURING, you have less knots and clumping AFTER....

yes take down really does work, follow the instructions. The only thing is that its greasy but it did make taking out my braids a breeze and I have really thick type 4 hair.

and Shatani, I really really really did keep my scalp cleaned, conditioned, and moisturized! Someone suggested that I dilute products before applying them. I'm going to keep that in mind.

yeah, i just learned about that diluting thing too! im gonna do that when i get my braids....i used witch hazel before to cleanse my scalp of build-up...that worked well for me...significanly less grossness at the roots....a lot of ladies here use seabreeze....

I just went to their website and the ordering page is not secure. Meaning it doesn't have the locked symbol in the lower right corner of the browser when you're entering your credit card information. And when I called to place my order over the phone their number was disconnected.
