Okay, I have box braids right now, however they're not braided all the way to the ends the way I usually like them. To me it's too straight, so I was thinking of after washing my hair, take a few braids and braid them together. When they dry, will it come out wavy looking? And will it last?

Yes, but you have to put them in boiled water for like 10-30 seconds.

Yes either braid it and dip it in the water or put some rods or curlers on it and dip it. Just be sure that you aren't dipping your own hair in the water too.

Hmm, see that's where I may have a problem. My own hair is about arm-pit length (yeah, I had to cuss the lady to make sure they braid PAST my own hair!). Will it still wave a little though if I braid everything together while wet and sit under the dryer to dry?
