Listen, if your hair doesn’t like many oils like olive and coconut, it may like Almond oil. If you have dry curly hair your hair will probably love this.
Most oils just make my hair greasy yet still dry and brittle. This actually left it moist and soft. According to Ayurvedic medicine, Almond oil is good if you have the vata-predominant hair. I know mine is, it has that dry tight feeling in the scalp and the hair can get very dry. Olive, coconut, shea butter can’t do this for me and I guess since those oils are recommended for other dosha types, not vata. I do not have anything else in my hair right now except the oil and it feels so soft and moist.
I did a modified version of the oil rinse instructions posted by Sareca:
Shampooed hair with one of the Shikai Shampoos
Parted hair and placed just enough oil to cover each section of hair and covered with cap, did not rinse
Combed hair while wet with the oil then left in
Combed and put a little more oil and water after it was mostly dried. When it starts feeling a little dry, just spritz with water and work the oil in and comb through.
Yo son, TRY this.
