I swear it does /images/graemlins/grin.gif I am 4 weeks post relaxer, but it feels like 7 wks /images/graemlins/grin.gif
Anyone else having good results with surge??
 
i agree im getting about an inch a month in some places thanks to surge were as before i'd get the most half inch if im lucky.
 
OKAY!!! You guys are really tempting me to use Surge. As I have stated in other posts, I have a bottle at home but I am too afraid of the side effects (besides long hair) to use it. /images/graemlins/cry3.gif

By the way Denali, how often do you use it?
 
I get good results when I stick with it, but since I stretch my relaxers I have to stop at week 5 b/c then I can't style my hair anymore /images/graemlins/laugh.gif
 
I'm still scared of Surge. But I did just start trying it around my ears and nape. I'm praying that I don't get any scalp irritation. Are you using straight Surge or are you mixing it with any oils or other leave ins?
 
Consistence is key! I only apply it once a day and still have good results.
I just picked up the Ultra Max yesterday to use when I wear my hair down. It felt so good on my scalp!

Yes, I do!! I love it. But I usually wait to start surging until I am 3 weeks into my relaxer cause once the SURGING BEGINS, THATS IT!!!! /images/graemlins/clap.gif /images/graemlins/laugh.gif
 
Oooh Denali drop the juice on the Ultra Max, my BSS ordered me some and I'm picking it up today. Is it a grease that does the same thing as the spray? B/C that may help keep me consistant since the water won't cause my newgrowth to go crazy!
 
I saw a bit more growth, but the best thing was how little breakage/shedding I had after I took my braids out. I was very pleased and I think lI'm hooked. /images/graemlins/clap.gif

Did you spray surge on the length of your braids or just the scalp?

What was your regimen with braids? (spray daily with surge? How often did you wash your hair?)

Can you test it for a couple of weeks on a small area? Make doubly sure you use an oil or something moisturizing when using the spray.
 
Surge is great. It has really made all my edges grow back from a bad bout with braids. I use it now with the braids I have and my hair is growing like crazy. But, of course I'm not checking b/c I'm on the "no checking length" challenge. /images/graemlins/wasntme.gif /images/graemlins/angeldevil.gif

I happened to stop at this bss near my job to pick up a bottle of the revitalizer and there it was /images/graemlins/shocked.gif Girl, I almost passed out in the aisle when I saw the Ultra Max sitting on the shelf next to the Woojee Cream /images/graemlins/lachen70.gif
Its creamy, so you will have to use it sparingly if you are trying to keep your curls. Its suppose to work the same as the spray minuse the keratin protein, it surely has that growth ingredient-Muccopolysaccharide /images/graemlins/grin.gif
 
I started Surging a week ago, and I LOVE this stuff! My edges are already beginning to look better. This stuff works fast! And my hair seems a little thicker overall.

/images/graemlins/scratchchin.gif I have some at home /images/graemlins/look.gif. I never thought it would work like the spray. Maybe I'll give it a try, at least on my edges. It's a shame to be so lazy, but I don't like manipulating my hair that much and the wet roots are just not fun /images/graemlins/nono.gif.
 
It works great when I'm consistent. I took a small break but I gradually started using it again, making sure my scalp is oiled.
 
I wish I had the results you ladies had. After hearing all the raves I ran out and purchased 2 bottles all the way across town (I've seen it everywhere since). After using it for a week my roots felt like straw. My hair was hard as a brick /images/graemlins/frown.gif I cannot use Surge /images/graemlins/frown.gif
 
I have recently (a month or two ago) started using the spray all over my scalp at night. I haven't noticed any extra growth. /images/graemlins/frown.gif Leave it to me to be the freak who doesn't get any results. /images/graemlins/frown.gif

I do believe it's a good strengthener, though. /images/graemlins/up.gif My nape area hasn't been this long and strong since... EVER! Relaxed or natural, that section was always dry and short.
 
Do you all cough when you spray surge sometimes? I hope it doesn't have some kind of weird cancer causing chemical or something. When I spray it, sometimes it makes me cough afterwards...Maybe, I'm just weird!
