Surge Challengers - Month 2

I was JUST getting ready to start this post!!! Where my girls at!!!???
Still going strong...using more of the Wojee cream than the Surge though. I actually like the Surge Power Wash but add a huge handful of Pantene Hydrating Curls conditioner to it...I NEVER use it straight...too drying.
I am at 5 1/2 inches now it seems and I added some comparison shots in my album.
Ya'll make sure you stop through and let me know what you think.
FURTHER UPDATE FROM SURGE: I got a "picture release form" in the mail from Surge. No offer of compensation though...they want to use my pics on their website...but do not feel like it is "advertising" per say.
Something about that does not seem fair or right...and I have not signed the release yet.
Am I being to picky? Should I hold out for some compensation? I feel like I am giving free advertising as it is by allowing my album to stay open and reccommending the product...which I am glad to do cause I love the stuff. But for them to use it on their website and just send me a box of Surge every once in a while...does not seem like equal compensation.
I dont know...give me some feedback. Maybe I am looking at this all wrong...Not trying to get rich...just want my pictures to be treated with value.

I am still surging along! No bad reactions but lots of new growth. I have been using it since Jan. 2004. I have about 2.5 inches of new growth. I can't say for sure its only the Surge because I take vits too but I will say it halted my shedding in its tracks.
I am almost 12 weeks post relaxer with little to no shedding or breakage. As recommended by another member I have stopped using Surge this week because I am going Sat. for my touch up. I'm still in!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i've been slacking.
but started back yesterday. in all i've been using it for about 4 months and have never had any problems. as a result of my little break from surgin' i realize it's really made my hair grow! i was getting 2 inches every 6 weeks and since i stopped using it i haven't had nearly as much new growth. therefore i've started back and i'm definitely gonna stick with it.

I'm still using the Surge along with my eggs diet. It's growing in nice. About 1 week after my touch up you could see and feel the difference. I can't complain, I wanted fast hair growth and I got it

Im just finishing up month 1 of Surge use, i just wanted to know...how long was it before you guys noticed a big "surge" of growth...I can tell my hair is growing faster but Im lazy and dont feel like measuring again but I dont think I've gotten an inch yet...

Still Surging twice a day and loving it. It's on my calendar now, like hitting the gym every day (just gotta LIFT, just gotta SURGE!).
I'm at about 5 weeks post relaxer and the new growth is still quite manageable so I've not retouched. Can't tell about the new growth though until the hair is retouched. My stylist underprocessed my hair
so it's ALL looking like new growth now.
Now as for my mom w/her type 3c (I think it is), she's easily getting an inch a month, maybe almost an inch and a quarter to half. I'd have hair envy if she weren't my mom.

I'm still Surging but I've been slacking a bit of late. It doesn't seem to be giving me as good results as it did the first 6weeks that I used it. I initially got a "surge" of growth but now it seems to be settling into a normal growth rate again.

You know what I think you should do...take pictures. Sometimes it is hard to see the subtle growth from time to time and sometimes you may be convinced your hair barely grew but when you keep a photo journal you may actually see your hair has grown quite a lot. Also remember some people may see results faster based on a number of things such as diet,exercise,supplements. God bless you all.

i think i have to take back the comment i made earlier about not seeing super growth...i think i have had a great deal of growth in the past 4 weeks b/c my new growth is more dense now than before...i guess i just never paid attention to it b/c of all the shrinkage or didnt notice because im looking at my hair all day everyday...and u know what they say about the watched pot...
I am still surging strong....I use approx one bottle a month...I am using a bottle where I mixed the Motion Lotion w/the Revitalizer..I have to get another bottle today..I cant tell how my new growth will be once I am out of these braids but I have alot of it..I also have been massaging my hair constantly...I am going to keep my braids until the end of next month(3months) and that will put me at 12 weeks post relaxer, then I will protein treat, deep condition then wait two weeks and get a blowout before I rebraid it again...for my hair, I know I have to give it a rest before I rebraid it..this time I will get cornrows

I could not believe it myself until I saw the pics...that natural hair came back with a VENGENCE!!
I decided to go ahead and give permission to use on my "before and after" shots. I will hold onto the rights of all the others. They did thank me and said I will continue to receive the products for free, just let them know each time I run out and they want me to test out their new products and give feedback.
I feel comfortable with that...and I agree with the idea that when a company "pays" for an endorsement...then the testimony does not feel sincere.
I dont know when you will see my big head on the Surge site..but if someone sees it before me...let me know!

I had a set back in Jan, but I think I'm back on track. I had to cut almost an inch and I had run out of Surge, but I still got at least my normal amount of growth and a tiny bit more.
Now my local CVS drugstore carries Surge, so I don't have to wait for an order and risk running out. Whew!

<font color="purple">Is it too late to take the Surge Challenge? 2 days ago, I went to my local BSS and bought a bottle of the 14 Revitalizer. I'm using it every night to spray the scalp, the thinning temples and the nape. I even use it on my ends along with my EVOO and Olive Oil Cream to moisturize while wearing pigtails to bed.
Just got started using it and no results yet. I'll keep you updated as the days go by. Toodles. </font>
