to a new product!

(had y'all didn't I?)

Well, it's not really new--it's a combo of some other stuff. This mixing conditioners is really fun. I tried the combination of Kenra MC and Elucence Moisure Balance with a little Avocado Oil (thanks avocado ladies for the tip!) and I like the results so far.

Now sometimes (like tonight) when I want to test out conditioenrs without wetting my full head, I'll pull one side of my hair into a pony tail and do the ponytail only. Occassionally the pony-tail results are different than when I do it on a full head. But my ponytail dried soft and silky. I think that's the key when looking for a moisturizing conditioner--if your hair AIR dries soft and silky then the stuff is on point

Now, I want to try Elucence products especially if they mix well with Kenra - my fav!!!

HL,

I figured that since they're in the same family, it wouldn't hurt to try. Adding the Elucence in gives me extra detangling power and creaminess

I'm pretty pleased with it.

I really urge you to try the Elucence products. I think you would love the Moisture Benefits shampoo (I know you would and it smells delicious) and the Moisture Balance conditioner.

I have gone 2 years in the past....I think I might relax my hair this weekend though. I am experiencing horrible shedding.

WOW Tebby! I'd like some of your tips for stretching it so long. Do you have to use alot of heat the further along it gets?

Girl, I am just LAZY!!! I really wore my hair in a bun everyday when I wasn't relaxing. On occasion I would get braids. I also went to the Dominian salon when I wanted it straight. That woman did WONDERS with my hair. I am torn between a relaxer and getting braids for the rest of the year, so I don't know if I'm getting the relaxer this weekend or not.

Also, although I am shedding right now, I can honestly say that my new growth is in the best condition it has ever been in.
