Supergirl, how long after a touchup should one

keratin protein--WAIT 2 weeks.

If the ingredient list contains "Hydrolyzed Animal Protein"--WAIT 2 weeks.

Any other proteins are suitable for immediate use.

you should be able to do either one of these right after a touchup. you need a good deep treatment after chemicals. Supergirl:whats the reason for waiting two weeks, is it because those proteins are stronger?

I was told that using a strong protein would cause slight reversion.

Yeah a protein conditioner reverted my hair once but it was one of those strong ones.

Is the one by DB ok to use?

Yes,

DB doesn't have Keratin or Hydrolyzed Animal Protein.

Jaquai,

Strong proteins like the ones I mentioned waiting 2 weeks to use will cause reversion.

Umm...Is that what happened to me?

I used Joico KPak less than one week after my touchup and it doesn't even feel like I got a touchup less than three weeks ago! When I take a look at a strand the curly part is at least two or three inches long!

That's probably what happened. All I know is that I use protein once and my hair reverted and I deep conditioned one of that time right after a touch up and it reverted a little.

Just a little note. DB protein conditioner is the bomb. The Hydrating shampoo is the bomb. My hair sooo soft. Wow.

Man supergirl. DB is...I don't really have the words for it. I pretty much bought the whole line. The leave in is on back order so I don't have that yet but I can't believe how soft and flowing my hair. I love Elucence like you. I love it because it made my hair soft and healthy (key word). It has such healthy ingredients but I liked to switch between all my other tryouts and my other fav Keracare because i like how silky that makes my hair. The thing with DB is that I get what I like from Elucence and Keracare combine. I still can't believe the protein conditioner be so moisturizing and it stopped my little shedding. Unbelievable.

Have you tried the purifying shampoo.

I have the purifying shampoo-but haven't used it yet. I am so glad to hear that you like these products & I agree that it IS amazing how moisturized the reconstructor leaves the hair, yet with such strength, flexibility, & elasticity.

And yet--I can see why you would love Elucence. It is still in my rotation though DB is my #1.

Maybe we have similar hair

Yeah I think we might have the same type of hair and being a big time pj in common. Still have Elucence and I won't give that up. Too good of a product and we know it's no where near the price of DB.
