I use the reconstructor by itself. It is so moisturizing & doesn't contain any of the "hard" proteins. Plus, Deep Brilliance is too expensive to be trying to follow the reconstructor with the moisture shine conditioner
My hairstylist says that the 2 can be mixed though. But have you read the ingredients? They are quite similar
Actually I had a sample of the reconstructor and unfortunately it did not list the ingredients on the back. I have the full size of the moisture shine and ended up using it as a follow up to the reconstructor. Oh well!
See, you guys ain't right . . . now I'm curious about DB and want to buy this stuff, too. I'm too broke after the holidays to revert back to PJism, but I can't help myself. Surge, DB . . . so many products, so little time!
Edited because I wasn't finished with my original post!!
I just came across this line today and was wondering if anyone had tried it. I assume we're talking about the line of hair care products designed for women of color by Farouk (makers of my beloved Chi turbo and silk therapy). I've found a distributer in Toronto, and I'm waiting for them to get back to me so I can ask about pricing.
thanks supergirl! I am looking forward to trying these. all the products you recc' are fab on my hair as well. Also, I will be trying the kenra iet too!
I just used the reconstructor last night and its awesome. It detangles very well, it went on my hair very smoothly.
And it really isnt a hard protein treatment. I can use it weekly without any problems. Its also very moisturizing at the same time. The ingredient list is impressive, just to name a few at the beginning of the list are glycerin,
olive oil, dimethicone, etc.
--This line of products has kicked me right off my PJ High--I haven't bought anything new since I discovered it about a month ago. (a month without buying anything new is a LONG time for me)
is the conditioner better than humecto? when i say better i guess i mean is it more moisturizing and does it detangle? those are my most important options i look for in a conditioner.
I can't say which ONE I would buy--They all work exceptionally well as a team. It would be hard to just pick out one. Sorry, I'm not a big help--I just LOVE them all
