summer to fall growth compare..

well looks like it wasnt a great growth summer for me...
looks like my hair is damn near the same length i stated with...hooohmmm...o well..
ok im tryin to post the pics with an attachment but it doesnt seem to be coming up...i will keep tryin

This is about the time my hair started shooting out my head last year. Around October and November. My hair grows average other than that time of the year. I don't have the incresed summer growth rate. Mine is always late fall and early spring. Maybe it's the temperature change in general that my hair likes.

I didn't have a tremendous amount of growth over the summer either. Despite popular belief, I think that my hair grows the fastest during the fall/winter months. I've always had my best growth then, so I'm looking forward to even more growth in the upcoming months.

I didn't get that much growth either and with the trim in July I am right back where I was when I came to the board.

i tell ya..my hair grows at a snails pace...ima gonna try to extend my relaxer ounce again..lets hope this works...my scalp is starting to not like relaxers anyomore...

I don't measure my hair, so I can't be positive. But I honestly think my hair grows the same all yr. long. I wish I got these spurts like some people. But then, I don't measure, so maybe it does. I don't know. /images/graemlins/ohwell.gif

Growth spurts can be sucky too. For example, my hair prolly grows 6 inches a year. However, four of those inches seem to be within a two month time span. That means for like 10 months out of the year it doesn't really look like my hair is growing at ALL!!!!!!

lol realluv..my hair never seems to get longer...if i did not take picyutes i would swear it didnt...
shantini, i think it grew maybe a 1/4 inch..that is sad...but i'll take it..plus i cutt a 1/2 inch off for a trim...

I had a lot of growth over the summer but I don't think I will get all that much in the fall, My hair's been acting crazy with the change of weather---shedding, itchy scalp and dryness. I am fighting it by putting in braids to avoid as much manipulation as possible.
