HOw do you intend to wear your hair for the summer???? I am just curious to know how everybody is going to wear their hair!! (So I can get an idea for myself)
 
I will be wearing cornrows, braids, roller wraps, buns, french rolls, and flexi-rods. I can do all of this myself except for cornrows my mom does them for me for free.
 
Let's see...Bun, Bun, Bun and probably a Bun :lol:

I work out 5 days a week so its hard to wear my hair down.
 
I'm going to utilize my DVDs & twists up & cornrow my hair myself!!:yep:
I'll probably do that in August until August or September (depending on how they look!) :look:
 
I think I am going to do a mini-corkscrew weave because I have become all scizzor happy, snipping off my ends whenever that I think it would be best for me and my hair if we were apart for a bit!

I think I will wear my hair down until I get 8 weeks post after that then I will do some two strand twist with extra hair, cornrows, and a sew-in!!! I will also experiment with twistout, phony pony, and I am looking for a wig like Ms. Portugal It is to die for!!!!!
 
I really don't think I can go beyond 12 weeks post, so I'm getting a touch-up on June 10th probably. But I'm getting a Dominican blowout the week before, for my sister's graduation. It's much easier for me to take care and style my hair when I don't have too much new growth. I'm excited to see how far from bra-strap I will be... I think about 1"-1.5" and then I will wear do rollersets and buns, hair down for special occasions, french rolls, that type of stuff... until August, when school starts and I'll be 8 weeks post, and I might have to get braids for a couple of week, until my next next touch-up *September 1st* when I should definitely be at bra-strap if not longer... as long as I don't trim, lol...

That was long huh? I'm psycho... it's all mapped out on my cellphone's calendar :look:
 
For right now, I plan on doing twists and rwistouts until June. I'm excited because I just found someone to do my hair in silky locs for a very good discounted price. I think I will stick with this stylist for the summer and keep my hair in silky locs or yarn braids (nu locks).
 
I'm going to try a braidout as well as keep up my strawsets this summer. Since I cut my layers again, a bun might not look so great. Hopefully this summer I can wash more frequently. I need all the moisture I can get! :D
 
I'm defintely just wearing extensions or cornrows not only throughout summer but for another year and a half. I might just get a sewn-in done along the way.
 
It's all about buns for me this summer. I don't really like to wear my hair down these days. I exercise daily, usually outdoor walking, and it's hot and humid like I don't know what. So, I'm conditioner washing daily and putting my hair into some sort of bun...up and out of the way.
 
I tried to be cute and wear my hair down a few times, but its crazy hot and humid in south louisiana, too hot to wear hair down. I'm sticking to buns and anything off the neck for the majority of the summer.
