So I've been trying to figure out how to straighten my hair without heat for a while.

I've pretty much watched most of the YT videos on the subject but none so far have really achieved what I'm looking for (I should note that I was specifically watching 4a/b videos). :nono:

Well, I noticed that when I bun with Ecostyler hair gel that hair comes out straight so I got the idea to use the gel as a setting lotion.

It worked!! :yay: I got straight-ish roller set. :woot:Just what I was looking for. I'm definitely  it!

Yes, I know :needpics:

so here are two heavily cropped ones.

I co-washed, put in my Giovanni condish as my leave-in, Bringraj oil (to soften the gel), and the regular Ecostyler gel.

ETA: I showed the section of my hair that is more 4b/c-ish to show that it can work for any texture.

Looks really good, nice and smooth :yep: My hair gets pulled smooth with Eco gel too, I wonder if this could work for me. Would you mind showing a pic of your natural texture?

I definitely need to try this because my rollersets always come out jacked. T_T

From the pix, your hair looks pretty straight to me, and it has a nice shine. Thanks for sharing!
