Suave Shampoo, Professionals Humectant

So, I decided I wanted to try something new. I went to my local Dollar Store (I love dollar stores) and picked up Suave Shampoo,Professionals Humectant( supposed to be comparable to Nexxus Therappe)it was only 1.50 so I thought, why not..I may be surprised,plus I could have sworn I saw this product raved about on the board. I was so excited /images/graemlins/grin.gif. My excitement was brought to a screeching halt, when I washed my hair /images/graemlins/frown.gif. It tangled my hair, it dried my hair, it SUCKED on my hair!! /images/graemlins/mad.gif /images/graemlins/mad.gif /images/graemlins/mad.gif
Where did I go wrong? /images/graemlins/confused.gif It did not leave me with that oh so soft feeling I was expecting...I just dont understand? /images/graemlins/confused.gif
I immediately rinsed this crap out and applied my staple MNT conditoner, which made me feel a little better /images/graemlins/look.gif. Should I mix the two for better results? How can I salvage this shampoo? Or was it a waste of my 1.50?
Damn! /images/graemlins/wallbash.gif What do I do next?

We usually rave about the Humectant Conditioner. I never used the shampoo before, nor do I plan to. I am sorry that the conditioner did not work for you. Maybe you can give it to someone who does like it or find some way to use it around the house.

Co-signing. I like the Humectant Conditioner. I wish I didn't buy the shampoo...I put it in the closet to use for weave washing along with my CON...

The Suave Humectant Shampoo dried my hair out terribly, also. I had to follow it twice with Mane n' Tail Extra Moisturizing Shampoo in order to bring my hair back to life. I don't know if adding olive oil will make it any better, but it may be worth the try if you want to salvage it.

Yeah, i used the shampoo once and its still lying around my room. It just wasn't good and was kinda drying. I wish I could find a way to get rid of it. I hate throwing out hardly used products..

Don't feel bad...Neither the suave Humectant line nor the Nexxus Humectress Line agree with my hair...they leave it feeling drier than a pile of hay in the middle of summer /images/graemlins/frown.gif

I used the conditioner Only...I don;t care for Suave shampoos. Well I like the milk and honey.

I saw the milk and honey...I was tempted to get the Suave Humectant Conditioner and was tempted to get it, but I figured since I had my MNT (mane n'tail)....I am looking for a good stable moisurizing shampoo to go along w/ my MNT. I was so pissed because I had some serious shedding after I washed out that Suave crap! I'm considering getting a texturizer...but I really dont know much about it. I will be going to a company XMAS party on 12/11..and was considering wearing my hair out, but I'm also in a dilema, because I'm on the Wig Challenge.
...SUGGESTIONS????....
