I got a touch-up on Friday after 11 weeks. I'm am so happy because I have no breakage and my hair is very strong. I usually go every 8 weeks. I could have made it 12 weeks, but I will be too busy. Condition washes and surge greatly helped me. I did not even need a trim.

I made it to 15 weeks relaxed April 1st and could not beleive how much my hair grew.
Thumbs up to Surge,Castor oil and Sta So Fro for getting me
through the last month.
My hair is much thicker and my stylist said my end are health and I did not need a trim.

Six months over here! I was so happy when I finally relaxed last Monday (3/29/04). My last relaxer was in September! My results were astonishing. When I relaxed every 8 weeks, I hardly noticed a difference in my hair. But I was amazed last week; Trust me, if I can do it, so can you! It really just takes patience. I know it sounds easier said than done, but TRY NOT TO BECOME TOO DEPENDENT on relaxers.

When my new growth came in, I fell in love. It was difficult to deal with at first, especially with all the tangles, but eventually I discovered what worked and what didn't. Both Pantene Pro-V detangle and Surge did wonders! As well as all the conditioner washes and bun/baggie technique hairstyles.

It was also easier for me to deal with since it was mostly during the hat/scarf season. This time I'm trying to go longer. Good luck to everyone and you can do it! REALLY YOU CAN!

I'm definately going to try to stretch it out to 8 weeks. CO washes it is to keep the new growth soft. But if my hair starts to snap I'm going in @ at least 6 weeks. Good luck everyone!

I'm at 13 weeks and I am gonna relax at 14 weeks. I just continue with my regular regimen of washing twice a week. During these times Sta-Sof-Fro is really helping to deal with the new growth.
