How in the world do you get your egdes straight when flat ironing? It was simple for me when I was natural and all I had to do was hit that area up with the pressing comb but I'm having troubles getting the edges straight and that doesn't look too cute in the front. Please help. TIA.

In between relaxers, I found it easier to use my curling iron to straigten my roots, including the edges. I can't get the same results with the flat iron becasue I can't get it as close to the roots.

I usually iron or blowdry directly on the area. I use this stuff called Just like a perm made by Liz and Daughters so it wont revert.

I use Dudley pressing oil. i'm relaxed. i first blow dry with a leave in and then on each section i apply the press cream and slowly from root to end flat iron my hair. start at the root and get as close as you can(try a curling iron if you can't get close with the flat iron) and hold iron for 1-2 second on roots and slide to the end and hold for 1-2 sec on the end.

hope this helps

I learned from Sylver2 to use her scarf method when stretching to lay the hair down. She has step-by-step instructions in her album and she stretches 25 + weeks!

I rollerset, but I have the Maxiglide and once I take the rollers out, I go back to each section and just maxiglide the roots. You can really close to your scalp w/o burning with the maxiglide.....

Where can I find the "Just Like a Perm" creme? I tried to do a search for it online, but the closest thing I could find was the "Relaxer Look" creme and you had to order it. I want to try to walk into a Sally's or BBS and buy it. Do you have any ideas? Thanks.
