Strawllers....anyone familiar??

So during my usual natural hair web searching, found this website that is selling tools for a straw set with varying curl size options and a whole haircare line as well. Not sure if anyone else has heard of this or used them yet, but just wanted to see if anybody had and could share their experience, I'm currently looking at my hair options once spring/summer arrives this year, I doubt i'll be able to ps through the summer :perplexed

here's the link to the website:

I have these and tried using them while I was transitioning. I looked HAM! Afro roots with stringy curly ends. That was years ago, I've been too busy to attempt it on fully natural hair.

hmmm never heard of these before.
I'm relaxed, but can't rollerset to save my life. And, at BSL, don't think I want to try now. :look: These look like they don't have to be as neat and also dry faster compared to flexirods.

I'm interested! I like the look of the models hair for transitioning. But for natural hair, my hair already looks like that! No need for a bunch of straws to make a regular fro. Hers had zero definition IMO. Like she hadnt curled it all. Wonder what that's about

Op, I only used the strawllers. When I set it I used my own setting lotion or gel and yes, they were highly uncomfortable to sleep in.

Yea I'm debating trying them. I've used curlformers before and beside the odd sleep I got I really liked them. I haven't done a straw set in maybe a year and a half. I didn't like how the straw set came out for the natural hair lady. I'd prolly use bigger sized ones that weren't suggested for our hair type simply because my hair is thin and gets straight super easy. All those tiny straws would make my hair even more tangle prone than usual. So I might get the 8" orange or beige ones and do them one Saturday after I take my hair out of twists, so that way I don't have to sleep on them. But if I do I will def update you guys

I got some of these at the hair show. I didnt buy enough though. Anybody have hair pics after using these? Also anybody know where to get these or curlformers in bulk? I used to get the curlformers at sally but they have gone up in price.

the end result for the natural hair is a joke right? I can get that look by just doing a wash and go (as opposed to a wash and shingle) and I have 4b hair

Idk SimJam it did look pretty pointless for anyone to buy the smallest ones, I felt the same way. I thought if I'm going take time to actually set my hair the curls are going to be something I couldn't achieve any other normal way

Yeah I got the smallest ones, I should have gotten medium sized. I just checked the youtube page and they have no tutorials featuring naturals, you'd think they'd catch a clue and use naturals with different types demonstrating usage.

Bumping because I'm really thinking about getting some. It seems like your hair would dry a lot faster than magnetic rollers. Has anyone tried and liked them?
