Storing your relaxer?

How do you store your relaxer? Especially you ladies who buy the tub of relaxer (mizani, affirm, etc.) Is room temperature ok? Should they be refridgerated (old wives tale, urban legend?) I am in Baltimore and it's like 90-95 degrees and I just purchased a tub of Mizani and my next touch up is weeks away! Will the heat damage/make the product less effective? TIA

I store my affirm in a cooler area. I've heard of some ladies that will store theirs in a refrigerator.

I have mine underneath my sink, I have stored one in the fridge before and it did not have the same effect on my hair.
