Hey ladies

I had my son 4 weeks ago (praise God) and am looking for ways to prevent shedding. KISS youtube video suggests adding Garlic Powder to your oils/conditioner. Have you tried it? Would ordinary garlic powder you cook with be suffice?

Thanks and God bless x

Yes! I've used the cheap powder you can buy for a dollar a bottle and it works well. I mix it into my final shampoo and let it sit for a minute or two before rinsing. First week after pooing, less shedding; 2nd week after pooing, almost no shedding at all. Be sure to rinse REALLY WELL because the scent will linger. Also, I just purchased Nutrine Garlic Condish and will be using that for the first time later today. I think I'm going to use this as a final cowash after clarifying...

Congratulations!!!!:congrats Yes there is an older thread about this here...

I think Garlic powder or oil applied to the scalp is too strong. Check out mustard seed oil.
