Stopped using Mega Tek

That's what I use too. 1/2 to 2/3 of the bottle is MT and the rest is a mix of glycerine, SAA and grapeseed oil. The next batch I think I will use honeyquat instead of glycerine. The application bottle really helps it last and gets it where it needs to be.

Dang, I gorgot to put honey quat in my last MT mix which I mixed last night. Thanks for the reminder Soliel.

ETA: I just wanted to say that I have not experience any side effects from the product. I don't shed excessively, don't have the itchies and don't have a sore scalp. In my experience if you have a sore scalp that means you have product build up. I rinse my hair daily so I don't have that problem.

because I cant see daily or overly frequent use of keratin being necessary either

Please be careful with your lovely heads of hair , God knows no matter how all this went down before, that the truth is it would truly break my heart to see anybody suffer any minor or major set backs with this!

and for the ones its working for Congrats on the growth! I mean that from my heart. At the same time I cant help but to think of it like this , with playing the slot machines you win, most often you keep playing you try to win more, and you often lose it all.

This heavy keratin use to me is a gamble. AND I just dont want to see the possibile pain of the loss! It was never about anything else for me!

Well thats just my opinion of the product, but you know some people win at gambling too in fact some do it for a living, but thats besides the point. Again I do have the right to say what I think or feel about this product , it really shouldnt be taken personal. Because like you said I am free to not use it, you are free to use it no matter what I say about it. I still feel the same way and I have never in all my life seen or heard of frequent Keratin use being safe, dont you understand thats not AGAINST YOU or anyone, my mind just cant grasp it. and many ARE having downsides , hence I do feel I can say it might be a gamble! My question is why are YOU taking that so personal, If I press my hair it has its own risks, for others its greater , for others its lose/lose, every head of hair is different so as with anything I feel this is a gamble. dont take it against you so much because it isnt at all! I wish you understood that! You are one that had no issues with it, but what if you were one of the ones that did, then you would have no problem with this fact, but because its all working for you, nobody is allowed to say it might not work for others! now thats the part that I DONT get and btw I didnt start this thread-I'm just particpating on it, nothing against anyone AGAIN PERSONALLY!

This board has always been an open forum for others to come and say what they feel a product did for them or even about product hair disasters, product raves and product trashes. not in any time before this , has there been such a 'take it personal' thing as there is behind this product!

I just got pm'd today by someone who's heart is going fast using silica, and I caught flack for that too, when another was saying taking 12 a day for a week was safe, and trashed me for saying not it might not be for some and it in fact could be dangerouos! maybe she will be brave enough to speak up, ANOTHER thing I dont get is lately if you speak up your turned on, I swear before God I aint never seen it like it is now around here! in all these years, people pm'ing eachother instead of speaking up to help others, and when you do, you get tag teamed or you must be personally insulting someone! hogwash, there are threads galore of people saying both positive and negative about products, techniques etc. I have never seen anything like what I see now. This aint no hair growth cult! we are supposed to help others. None of you using this product can deny that it could go wrong for others. Some of you act like sponsers! Its a product and just like any other people are going to speak up and since we aint the ones that own LHCF and thats what ALWAYS goes on here, talking about products! Stop with all the thread control, and gag orders and guilt trips PLEASE! I admitted to previously handling that situation not in the best way, but I refuse to not be able to say what I want about a product , I AINT DISRESPECTING ANYONE! No itching, no drying, pain, soreness, or extra shedding. I used once a week and added a day a week until I was using it everyday. That might have made a difference. I use it probably 5 days a week now (sometimes I get lazy). I don't know if it's growing faster or not, I havent check my hair against my start pics.

It's not that we are taking anything you say PERSONALLY Iris, it's just that you areEXCESSIVELY REPETITIVE. You are adding nothing new and fresh to the discussion that could be of help, instead while you say that you are helping , you are actually breaking us down based on yours, and maybe one or two other isolated occurences.

I feel truly that you are not happy unless you BLOW things WAYYYYY out of proportion and that if you keep saying the same thing or things over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again, that it makes your point more valid, when really it doesn't.
