Sticking with \"Mizani\"

This is a follow up post..
Hey guys just wanted you to know that I went to the JC Penny salon and got a relaxer done..

I decided to stick with Mizani, but switched to LYE....I was really nervous, because as you know I was having hair drama.. But what do you know, it came out nice and straight and full and bouncy...and....no breakage.

They used the whole Mizani line. Although, I must say the no-lye had my hair feeling softer, but very fragile, right now my hair feels strong again, thank you God... I will do my best to upkeep my hair so it can remain strong w/o split ends..on with my hair journey... Mizani (Lye) will continue to be my relaxer of choice..
thanks again Pebbles and Tonya for your prior responses

Re: Sticking with \"Mizani\"

Congratulations, Nikki. I'm happy for ya!

I had a similar experience at a JC Penny salon a couple of months ago and I'm sticking with Mizani too. I love my new stylist, the salon is very professional (i.e., no waiting, no overbooking) and I'm thrilled with the way my hair turned out.

Hope you're having a great hair day!

Re: Sticking with \"Mizani\"

I am another JC Penney salon convert; I never know they were so good!

I've had it applied twice so far and will be getting a retouch in about 2 weeks. Can't wait! I really like it.

Re: Sticking with \"Mizani\"

Thanks for this post..and congratulations on your results...I think I have made up my mind to switch to the Mizani in August!

Re: Sticking with \"Mizani\"

Nikki, it's been almost 2 weeks. How is your hair doing? I'm considering switching to Mizani so your answer will be helpful.

Re: Sticking with \"Mizani\"

I made the switch to Mizani last week and all I can say is that I'm in love. Mizani is the bomb. Before Mizani, I used African Pride no-lye. I loved AP because it got my hair super straight but I wasn't feeling the dryness. I decided to stop perming for several months and educate myself because my hair wasn't growin like i wanted it. Anyway after careful research I decided to go with Mizani and I love it!

It doesn't get my hair bone straight like the AP did but I'm digging the waves it gives me when I wear my hair back. My hair is no longer dry and I also have a good shine going on.

I'm very pleased with Mizani. This is my relaxer of choice from here on out.

Re: Sticking with \"Mizani\"

I also like Mizani! I think I have had it for.... 3 years or so now. It always does a great job (in my stylist's hands). My hair always gets straight. Its a very good product.

Re: Sticking with \"Mizani\"

Girl, I am sticking with it... I love it! My hair is in great condition I feel like my hair is thriving,, I chopped off all of my hair and it is growing in nicely.. I will take some pictures and post them when I get the chance. and oh ya, I switched to lye... I am loving every minute of it, I am noticing now that a little moisterizer goes a long way.. My hair is blowing with the wind...(I know I'm a little extra but I can't help it)

Re: Sticking with \"Mizani\"

one more thing, prior to my posting e-mail
My hair feels just as soft!! yay!

Re: Sticking with \"Mizani\"

Nikki,

I am so glad that you can notice the difference with the lye relaxer. Mizani is an excellent brand, and I'm very happy it's working well for you.
