Hi Ladies!! Just wanted to share some hair pics showing my growth during this past year. I joined LHCF Labor day weekend 08 after lurking for ooh I dunno 20 mins Lol..I'm impatient. I started taking care of my hair shortly thereafter, but still kept my rihanna-esque cut.I finally gave up the scissors last december, and decided to grow my hair out. I was an avid salon goer preLHCF, so it was definitely an adjustment, but I love being in control of my hair now. Jumped on a couple bandwaggons, but most turned out very well thankfully. I had one minor setback when I had my first bkt done, and had severe breakage, I think it may had been a case of too much too soon, but I was able to do it a couple of times since.

Though my hair is not long yet,I'm very happy with my progress I've made, and the health of my hair. I'm currently 8.5 months post relaxer and decided to transition a few month ago.

Thanks so much for the post. My hair is a tiny bit longer and in the same state as your starting pic so it is very encouraging to see such nice healthly hair being your result in 8 months of care. It really does look nice and wow did your bangs grow too. Congrats.
