Steamer or Heat Cap?

I am trying to be good and use all of these oils/conditioners on my hair, but they are not sinking in!

I HATE sitting under the dryer & would be prefer one of the more portable units.

I want to purchase one or the other, but was wondering if I could get any info on which would be better-

A steamer cap or a heat cap?

Well, Ive never tried a steamer. But Im very happy with my heat cap. I bought one also out of frustration of sitting under a dryer. Like you said its is very lightweight and portable. I can't complain about it. Another alternative also is a portable hair dryer. You can use it to kill two birds with one stone. Although the drying process is almost doubled.
