Will doing the steam treatment help soften the new growth and make stretching more bearable?

good question...i would also like to know....BUMPING

I bet the steam would make the new growth softer but personally what really helps me is co-washing

I co-wash too, but if this will help too...the more the merrier!

I guess I will just have to try it and see.

I wanna know too. Im 12 weeks post and Im dying. My rollersets just flop at this point. I don't know what to do. And I want to avoid breakage during this time. I've tried to wash more often and doing proteing treatments and co-washing but I don't know what else to do:sad::sad:

I did a steam treatment on Sunday and my NG was so soft I could comb through with ease. It feels so moist and supple even today. :lick:
I am going to do this again! :yep:

That is great to hear. I figured it would work. Thanks for posting

Hiya.
You've given me some good ideas SJ with regards to steam. Love it! Definitely part of my regime.
Does anyone have any ideas how often I should steam. Am thinking fortnightly. Will that be ok?
