Hello ladies,
I am an old member returning for some help. I am currently in remission from leukemia and my hair has started to grow back and I not really sure how or what I'm doing. The new texture is that of a newborn baby very, very soft. It is fine and straight on the sides & fine and curly on the top. I guess it would be a 3a? My hair previously was a 4a. I have plenty of experience dealing with my previous grade but I have no idea how to deal with new grade of hair. My main issue is when i wake up, my hair seems dry in the back and on the sides. My sleeping caps/scarves won't stay on at night but I do have a satin pillow case as backup. I co-wash every other day, wet my hair daily & I use a leave-in daily with jojoba oil, evoo, castor oil, peppermint oil as a moisturizer. I'm not loyal to any product. Prior to all this I used whatever product on sale & my hair thrived. I don't won't to wear wigs & I don't think my hair could hold a braid. My bf suggested gels & mouse. He says I have Justin Beiber hair now. I guess I'm kinda lost & could use some direction & would appreciate any thing you have to offer.
Thanks,
Kenedie
