I have SOOOOO much respect for you ladies who self measure....
It took about 1.5 hrs to self measure for a (crappy, probably invalid) marker pic using the following process...
1. Separate my hair from the 3 oz. of hair I bought from some unknown indian lady's ponytail and stretch same down its length of my back....
2. Grab my phone with my other free hand....
3. Spin and spin and spin (almost got dizzy...
) trying to position myself in front of the mirror with two awkwardly positioned arms....
4. Accidentally let go of the shock of hair b/c I was startled by my mother walking into the bathroom, laughing uncontrollably at the sight of me performing tasks 1 through 3
5. Re-perform tasks 1 through 3....
6. and SNAP....(the first pic)
7. Computer freeze after you type this entire post up...and you have to re-type *sigh...again*
The second pic is my hair (tracks n' all)...in the bathroom in a MUCH more relaxed state *sigh*

, but next time, I think I will wait for my little sister, SO or SOMEONE who knows how to press the camera button on my phone before I try this one again! At least I got a starting point!
