OK.... I confess....

My name is Curli Diva and I am a big-time HAIR STALKER! :D

If I see a head of healthy, long hair...

I will slowly move to keep you in my line of vision (no directly behind, because that is too noticeable)......

Maybe engage you in conversation, but not ask any hair question or even hair comments directly......

Then move around or in fornt of you to get a view from all angles....

I have stopped short on "accidently" bumping into you to get a quick feel.....

And my cheap cell phone does not a camera.....BUT I have been tempted!

I am not talking about a quick weave check, I will study your head like for a pop quiz!

I've done this in stores, at church, resturants, on the street, and on the train/subway.....................I need HELP!

I know I'm not alone..... if HAIR STALKING was a crime, who else would serving 8 to 10 right now?

I would def. get 8-10 for this. I did this earlier this morning in McDonalds. I saw a black lady today with mid-back hair in a ponytail. Her hair was jet black, w. no split ends. I was just staring for a while, and even got in back of her in the line. I was tempted to ask her what she does to get her hair that pretty. I also was thinking of what it would look like if she wore it down. I was tempted to just be like "you have beautiful hair" and then walk away.

I would be brought up on charges for hair stalking in person and over the net. I look at everyone's album, shoot some people (who shall remain nameless in order to protect the innocent) I'm in their album a couple times a week.

Since my days as a hairdresser, I have been a hair stalker. I am also a weave checker. I can spot one a mile away. Unfortunately, here in Baltimore, we have a lot of bad ones!

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!

(off to stalk, I mean, check out some fotki's)

I've come to the right place:

There is a member here who had an album with tons of great pics. She even got an album shout-out. Now, I can't remember that member's name to save my life. All I remember is that she had mid-back to waistlength hair. In the photo she had on a pink top and a pair of blue jeans. People were also complimenting her on her jeans.

If anyone remembers this album, please direct me in the right direction. I feel like this should be on the side of a milk carton.

{Puts fist in the air} Yea, i am one! :D I loooove seeing pretty long hair. It makes me more excited to grow and take care of my hair... I notice that while attending church, my mind will wonder and i will scan the audience for cute hair and i'll just stare in awe. Also if strangers are walking by, i will stare..aint no shame in my game. although i usually won't say nothing...

I am definately a hair stalker in person and on line!! (I wont name names because some are regulars here and will likely be checking out this thread  ). I am usually all up in peoples heads. Not where they can see me though. I usually wont say anything and just observe because sometimes ladies (not anyone here) catch an additude when you ask them about their hair. But if their hair is completely off the chain  then I would have to say something!

Was that Cleo? OMG I love her hair and would look at her pictures frequently imagining myself with her hair.

I caught myself doing this yesterday while ordering lunch. This lady had this gorgeous 3ish curly hair, it was medium brown with light brown highlights, a lil bit past shoulder length. I'm tryna check out her hair low-key and then she walked past me out of the resturant and I was like NNOOOOOO come back, I wanna stare at your hair longer!!!!!

Just book me on the stalking charges right now....I'm gon' save the tax payers some money by not going to trial. I'm pleading guilty up front, and begging the judge to give me the maximum sentence.....

I'm such a hair stalker, but I am so not good at it 'cause I get caught all the time   Ya'll need to teach me how to be more discreet with my stalking. I so wanna become a pro at this....

Hopefully, I think long-haired Black women are just tried of weave checks and are extra sentive to questions, and not just have stank attitudes! :(

Ladies- I am glad am not alone! :D I'm not big on alblum stlking, I guess I just don't have the patience to search for that prefect photo in alblums.

Yes, I too am a hair stalker. Sometimes I just can't help but stare. And crlsweetie, LOL ain't that the truth... I'm so tired of seeing tracked up heads with tracks showing and badly clipped ends!

Congratulations B-More on your graduation!
WAY OT: you always have the cutest eyeshadow. What brand are they? Where do you purchase?

I agree. All stalkers need to take an oath. If you are admiring someone's hair and get caught, please give a smile or a complement. That way, you won't get lumped into the hater, weave checker category by the stalkee.

:sekret: I'm sitting in the back of the room close to the door in case there is a raid! They'll NEVER take me alive!
