Sports Board/Section/Forum
I was venting in another thread in OT about how I think it's weird and unfair we don't have a sports board. Then I realized that was silly bc I never requested and was unsure if it has been brought up before. I firmly believe you can't complain unless you've spoken up.
In comparison, for argument's sake, we have a:
Pet Forum
Michael Jackson forum
(I love MJ and all but I think Sports impact our entertainment lives more on a daily basis)
Nails Forum
Wedding Forum
Soap Opera Forum
(when they are going to be completely extinct in 5 years)
. . .and no Sports Forum. Judging by the threads in OT around NFL/NBA season time, I think it's long overdue.
In fact, the number of women who watch sports probably outweigh the ones who watch the few soap operas that are left.
I would even dare to say it's borderline sexist for LHCF not to have one at this point. Many women, like myself, love sports just as much (if not more) than men do. Here at LHCF we are a neglected population
I watch SportsCenter just as much as I watch Basketball Wives or Single Ladies. I keep up with NFL scores and NBA trades as much as I keep up with the latest fashion trends. I think it would be a great addition and deserves some consideration.
