i'd like to hear more about the steamer. can you share where u purchased this hair steamer and how long you've been using it? what is the best way to use it? thanks.
Thanks Adrienne! My hair is presently going through some changes. I don't know if it's because of my new flat iron usage, underprocess relaxer, experimenting with too many products or what. I think I just might need some vaseline.
Happylocks: Before I used the Split Ender I made sure my hair was tangle free. While using it I sectioned my hair into 4 sections, I then sectioned into 1 inch deep sections, clamped the Split ender to the root and moved down to ends per the directions.
Ebony: I haven't purchase a hair steamer as of yet I was getting my hair done at Penny's weekly for about a little over a month. I think the best way is to use it maybe once a month (see links below) with out a cap covering the hair during the process. During the time I was getting my hair done it would turn out soft even after clarifying.
This is the thread that gave me the courage to purchase this item: My review of Split Enders (Thanks Epicura and Kathryn)
Bree: There isn't a programmable option for varying lengths but that would be a great idea for another product. I really don't know how it works. I just saw the results as far a the cut amount shared in my album.
Karonica: It only come with a "4 in 1 styling comb" as well as with a "Quick style sectioning clip". My hair length is about the same as it was 2 wks ago so I guess it would be safe to say that in 2 wks time my hair could have grown less than 1/2 an inch.
M Blake: Thanks. Just hold on and continue to take care of your hair.
Oooooh! I'm gonna get one! I know I'm like 3 weeks behind on gettin' a trim but I'm afraid to get it trimmed professionally. This will help me to be faithful to maintaining my ends definitely! Thanks a million for this post!
ChocoKitty: There is nothing like a professional trim by a stylist who isn't "scissor happy" but for me this product just helps me to get by. Save your receipt and try it out. If it doesn't satisfy your need you can always return it for a full refund (check your store policy 1st).

Oh yes! I know better. It just so happens that my stylist isn't scissor happy--but I'm not ready to see him. Trims just make me tremble!
Eventually I'll have to see him for a good shape up though. Thanks again!
