I didn't want to hijack the original thread, but I have a question for those who "knew" their DH's before marriage.
How long was it between "knowing" one another and marriage?
When I was in the 7th or 8th grade I will never forget my algebra teacher saying to me: "Why buy the milk when you've already got the cow?" For some reason his words stuck with me (though I didn't always listen) because I figured as a man he would have at least some insight into the matter. And, no doubt, this is true of some men.
