This is a slight spinoff from something in the “off topics” section. Everyone is entitled to their fantasies, however, if you knew someone in your life was fantasizing about sexual acts that’s “borderline” behavior, would that be a deal breaker?
You know, the thread about the girl who said she told her SO/BF about her rape fantasy. Then she later says he rapped her. To me, I see red flags when someone tells me about rape fantasy. One of the reasons is the last man I heard say, “Every woman fantasizes about rape,” … well, he ended up raping someone.
S&M. That seems a little off when people are actually cutting, beating each other and getting off on seeing the blood. Even before that. Why would someone want to hurt someone like that?
What about the man or woman that likes to look at “teen” porn? Is that fantasy ok? Even if the females or males are just “actors” that look younger, or let’s say they JUST became of a legal age yesterday … still. It is porn targeted at a man or woman that is getting off on watching someone that looks legally under age. There are actually young girls and boys out there being victimized by adults with these fantasies. Statistically, these adults have either acted on it, will act on it or have victimized someone in someway.
Fantasies are wonderful. They do not need to be acted upon. Sometimes it's enough to keep it in your mind and that’s it. However, I think we also need to be careful about where we allow our thougts and fantasies to go. I THINK … IMO, women are much better at that than men. I could be wrong!
