spin off - let's have a serious conversation about settling.

Every relationship comes with compromise. And some women have ideals they end up giving up because they meet a man who fulfills all their needs anyway. And no one is perfect. Settling is marrying for a man who does not fulfill a core need (which is different for every woman) because the woman is either 1) afraid of being alone and/or 2) believes they will not get anyone else who can fulfill those needs.

I'm watching two marriages fall apart right now because the women admit they settled and I know I could never marry a man who did not satisfy an important need.

Settling for me would be dating someone with kids, that's when you know I just gave up on life I wanted.

i think the BIGGEST indicator of my settling would be a guy im embarrassed of and dont want to show off. like if i got into a serious relationship with an fb who wanted to go the whole way when i knew he was not someone i want to introduce at a work function  if i went public with a fb relationship that should have been kept in the dark, i settled.

i also think no higher education would be settling for me personally.
