Wait, wait, i always thought that it was PLACENTA that was beneficial to the hair! I see that in hair shops all the time.

I know an older woman that uses the human variety for hair gel. She can barely make a ponytail. So take that with a grain of salt. She doesn't wash or condition though, so maybe she's experiencing breakage from protein overload.

It should be taken internally :look:

If laughter is the best medicine, yall have cured me of everything from the swine flu to the scarlett fever in a matter of minutes while reading this thread. OMG.

Sperm for growth? Ahahaha Hey whatever it takes! *pounds chest*

If this were true... the black population would decrease and long lengths would be achieved by the survivors

Ya'll are too funny but I know some people probably went and tried the actual verson. I just tired my whale spearm conditioner this week. Read good reviews online. oh.....and I heard whale sperm is the type of whale .

Okay, I had no idea WTF this thread was really making reference to, and I will admit to skipping most pages of the thread, but the post above made me research exactly WTH this was in reference to.

I found the ingredients:
"Q&S Whale Sperm Shampoo Esperma de Ballena Shampoo Premium Made with natural extracts, Whale Sperm Oil and Vitamin E, this Shampoo conditions your hair through continuous use. It is excellent for dry and damaged hair due to chemical processes and climate changes. USE : Apply Whale Sperm Shampoo over wet hair massaging the scalp. Rinse well with water. SIZE : 16 oz."

Okay...I don't see anything about Whale Jism anywhere. It appears "Whale Sperm" is the brand name. It also appears the company is not American and the translation is just bad.

For those who aren't familiar with the species of Sperm Whale:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sperm_whale

So it appears to me, no one is ACTUALLY using Whale Jism in their hair.
That's all.

Okay, after reading through I see someone actually did mention that it has been said on the board at least TWICE before. LOL Guess we can't say it enough.

Anyway, off to go get some monkey spluge leave-in. It's been real.

I love LHCF! I really do! But sometimes man...

You gotta be kidding me!

Anyhoo... I voted for the closet option to 'heck no'!

I'll stick to eggs or mayonnaise thanks!

I'll pass :ohwell:. And I really don't understand how human semen at least in it's unmixed form could possibly be good for the hair as a leave in since it dries up and hardens and might not rinse out easily.
You're better off using an egg if you need protein that badly and you can't afford a conditioner.
This thread is a joke right?

I'm not team sperm by a long shot, but how come putting an "unfertilized chicken egg" in our hair any less gross and nasty than sperm? :perplexed I guess because we have been socialized to accept eating unfertilized chicken eggs in our culture...that's pretty nasty when you think about :nono:
