Many of you that are close to me know that my 35 year-old ex but still dearly devoted and loved sister-in-law, Susan Harden, mother of my 12 year old niece and nephew, is a Type 1 (juvenile) diabetic and her health seems to be in poor condition. Some of you may know, that during the time that my mother passed, she was having her left foot amputated and was unable to attend the funeral. You may also know that right now she is scheduled to stay in the hospital for 6 weeks (or time unknown) because a few weeks ago she broke her ankle on her right leg from a fall. It took therapy and time for her left leg to heal from the surgery, but it finally did, so today I am asking you all to pray for her as she prepares for the doctor's answers on whether or not her right leg has to be amputated up to the knee. She is waiting on a second opinion from a doctor. Really I am asking for a miracle, that a healing will take place before the doctors looks at it again. As I said she is young, and her children have barely seen her live a "normal" life, today is the first day of school for them in the 7th grade at a new school, and with the problems they are already facing, I ask that we pray that this is not another occurrence that will damper their youthful spirits. I ask that it is the Lord's will that her health be restored to the point where she does not lose her leg, and whatever we need to do to ensure that her body gets what it needs to help her survive and live a descent life for as long as possible, that God will provide, and grant His mercy and grace. I know that there is power in prayer, I prayed with her Saturday and I am so glad to know that she has peace of mind in a time when others might have given up to lose so much of their health, Lord I pray that her healing can be a miracle and a testimony of Your greatness. I just ask that all of you please join me in prayer because I believe that there is power in prayer, many of us take life and our health and mobility for granted and we seek to find pleasures in worldly things, but there is no peace or pleasure that surpasses what God has provided and will give to those that love Him. Thank you for your prayers and may God's will be done.
