Speaking of Macheriaemour...Anyone never had short hair...

Since reading about my hair idol, Macherieamour, I'm just curious. Have you ever had short hair without getting it cut? My hair has always been at least shoulder length even when I do nothing...

I've always had hair a little past shoulder length since I started relaxing. I cut it to ear length once and it grew right back where it was before. I'm trying to get past that now.

I've always been BSL - MBL. When I was in HS my hair was SL because I thought cutting every 6 weeks was the thing to do, LOL!

Well, I will be the first to say I have always had short hair. My current length is the longest my hair has ever been and its still not long.

Without doing anything to it it would be between SL and APL. I'd always get a good trim whenever I went to the salon so no real retention.

I usually grew to apl and would then cut it to SL just for style. The last time i cut that short was because although it was apl, it was severely damaged,falling out,& thinning on one side. I meant to cut it to SL but the stylist butchered it and cut to NL with left side 2 inches shorter then right.

Past shoulder length usually I find it easy for my hair to grow but not so easy to keep the scissors out of it so I end up staying at shoulder length forever......

My hair was past shoulder length when I got it cut it in high school. I wanted my hair to look like Halle Berry's (I wish I never cut it). After ___... years it has grown back to APL.

I've always had a full set of hair...little past apl, it was cut short due to damage when I was a teenager. But, from staying away from heat my hair has thrived and has grown drastically and my hair goals are more obtainable...MBL here I come!
