Since going natural the top crown part of my head is sore. What would anyone suggest I use to help it.

Well i finally did a search. I realize it maybe due to growth and also being with out a relaxer fir so long. I will moisturize more and see if it goes away.

OP, I don't believe sore means growth. Some folks say it does, and maybe it does for them. To me soreness is a sign that something isn't right. Some people who've had alopecia can confirm that their head was sore in parts they lost hair. Also if your follicles were poorly, I'm sure one way they'd manifest that may be through pain. So rather than celebrate soreness, I'd massage my scalp well just to ensure circulation is bringing nourishment and taking away any toxins that could lead to issues. If the soreness didn't go, I'd see a doc just to make sure all is well.

Interesting. This actually happened to me as well when I first BC'd. The top of my head was very tender. Not sure why it happened, but it went away after a couple weeks.

OP, are you using growth aids? Because I used Megatek for a short period of time and my head would hurt, would feel tender to the touch. That was back in 2008.

My crown area is very sensitive. It dries out and feels painful. I apply some type of moisture to my crown every day or every other day. And I give myself a scalp massage with an oil blend 2 to 3 times a week. It does seem to be improving over time.

I definitely agree with the scalp massages. The moisture just seems to be a temporary relief.

The top of my head gets sore depending on manipulation and styling. How have you been wearing your hair, OP? I have been doing the things that Nonie and faithVA have suggested and it definitely helps. Now I only have a sore scalp if I'm scratching due to illness (I have two autoimmune diseases), putting mini twists in my hair, or a rushed detangling session.

The top of my head gets really sore whenever I wear a puff or do too much manipulating. The only thing that helps is doing a twist out and staying moisturized
