I just have to post this. I was looking thru an Essence magazine from a couple of months ago and saw that they published a list of what they call their "Best Beauty Bets". They list products under skin care, body care, makeup, and hair care. So I couldn't just read it without posting it. Oh no /images/graemlins/nono.gif, I wouldn't be a true hair forum member if I didn't so here it goes:

SHAMPOO
Cream of Nature Detangling Conditioning Shampoo
Neutrogena T Gel Shampoo (for Dandruff)
Goldwell Definition Color and Highlights Color Conditioning Shampoo (for Color-treated hair)
Nexxus Vitatress Biotin Shampoo for Fragile Thinning Hair (Fine or thinning hair)
Clinique Gentle Wash (Frequent Shampooing)
Joico Resolve Chelating Shampoo (Removing buildup)

CONDITIONERS
Facile Conditioning Mud (Damaged Hair)
Terax Crema (Chemically treated hair) ** this stuff must be good I've heard a lot of recommendations for this product
Color Protect Daily Conditioner (Color-treated hair)
911 Original Formula Leave-In Conditioner (Natural hair)

DEEP CONDITIONING TREATMENTS
Namaste Organic Root Stimulator Hair Mayonnaise (Natural hair) **but we all know it works just as well on relaxed
Alberto VO5 Hot Oil Treatment (All hair types)
Okara Reconstructive Treatment Mask (Color-treated hair)
Redken All Soft Heavy Cream (Supercoarse or dry and resistant hair)

MOISTURIZER
Luster's Pink Oil Moisturizer Lotion Light Formula **Essence really likes this stuff why I do not know

GELS
Queen Helene Normal Styling Gel (Light hold)
Bed Head Headshrink (Heavy hold)

POMADE
Aveda Purefume Brilliant Humectant Pomade

SHINE SPRAY
Kizure Mega Shine Mist

And that's all for the hair products folks. I will post the skin, makeup and body products on the Skin Care board.

I have to say that I am quite happy with the pink oil lotion too and have been for about 8 years now - it can give me breakouts though if I'm not careful.
I just received my new InStyle magazine and they have the best beauty buys and they also have terax (but it's wayyy too expensive $40.00).
I don't care what they write cause I got my products he he /images/graemlins/grin.gif, and that feels pretty good. But thanks for posting this cause I'm always interested in what the mags think are the best products and I'm like "Yeah right..!!!"

they sell terax conditioner in the uk for £8.50 (13.6) on a british hair site. Can't remember what is it though...
