Yeah, it helped me understand what BKT does. I still don't really know what it is, though. They also had a great link to Al00fone doing a bkt on her hair. Its interesting. I didn't know it really worked until these two revealed their results...

I love how thoroughly she gives the pros and cons of BKT. I don't think I've heard both sides of the coin from the same reviewer so this was a nice unbiased overview.

Thanks so much for posting this, Laurend. Sonce is one of my favorite Fotki and online personalities. Everything she says is embedded in deep wisdom and consciousness.

ETA: I miss Sonce, too. One of the benefits to seeing her album is getting a sense, yet again, of the range of styles that natural ladies can avail themselves of. I love it! As my hair grows I'd like to consider alternate ways of styling it straight, and after seeing her results, I'm going to give the BKT some serious consideration.

I'm glad she included this in her fotki. When people ask about my BKT, I try to explain, but I don't think I do a good job. Now, I can direct them to Sonce! Her hair is gorgeous, BTW.
